Finally the time has come to bid goodbye to our beloved fourth year members of SAE IIESTS. We are thankful to each and everyone for making the club grow, holding its position, taking the responsibilities and last but not the least always be there like a family.
We celebrated their four years journey at SAE IIESTS with a farewell party making some new memories and cherishing the old ones.

Our team Automobeings, defying all the odds, has been relentlessly working to build this dream vehicle. Now its time for the final drive!! We wish you all the best for this exciting adventure.
Designing is indeed a challenging task, but presenting your work in a very brief and precise way is also a pivotal element of SAE Baja.
We, the SAE IIESTS, are back with some glimpses of our Presentation journey.
It all begins with compilation of all the information that is to be presented. All the important points are listed and introduced briefly. Considering all the instructions and constraints of the competition, it is organized precisely and in a presentable format.

Attention! Attention guys! 🚨
Finally the wait is over. SAE IIEST Chapter is coming up with some engrossing sessions on subsystems of vehicle from next week 🥳. We know hearing the word "session" all of you are going to imagine some boring tiresome lectures 😰. But, let me tell you, we will suberate the sessions with interesting automobile talks, some exciting videos, discussions, fun facts and lot more 🤗 .
So gear up your excitement and be ready to witness some enlightening sessions full of knowledge, interactions and yeah fun included 🤩.

Were you curious about how it starts and how to know whether the designs are reliable or not🤔🤔?
Well, we, SAE IIESTS, are here to your rescue🤗🤗.
A few glimpses are shown to give you guys an insight.
It first starts by identifying the needs and constraints of each subsystem and researching the problem.
Later, we would consider the possible solutions, select the promising solutions, and then create&test the design by using the software.
*Example ~*
The suspension dampens shocks faced by the vehicle on rocky roads. We analyse the conditions and choose suitable components from viable options. The design is created and assembled in CAD softwares. It is analysed and tested on softwares like Lotus(as in the video) to make sure they are safe and effective.

We are proud to announce that our workshop on " _*Recent Trends in Automobiles and Engines: Indian Perspective*_ " was concluded successfully on Tuesday evening. The event became memorable with the participation of attendees from other countries. We are grateful to all the speakers for enlightening us in such a beautiful and interactive manner.

As part of the Centenary Celebration of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Society of Automotive Engineers, IIEST Shibpur chapter presents a research workshop on,
"Recent Trends in Automobiles and Engines: Indian Perspective"
Date & Time: 25th January 2022, 1:30 pm onwards.
Participation in the workshop is by registration only and on a first-come-first-served basis. Registration is free. Registration deadline is 24th January 2022, 11:59 pm. The registered and selected participants will be provided the joining link on the day of the event through their registered email address.

Who should attend: Graduate students, senior undergraduate students of the final and pre-final year, research scholars, and young practicing engineers are encouraged to register for the workshop.
