World Hepatitis Day is celebrated each year on 28th of July to raise awareness about viral hepatitis (inflammation of the liver caused by virus).
This year’s theme is “Hepatitis-free future” with a strong emphasis on preventing mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B virus.
The World Hepatitis Alliance has set up a goal to eliminate viral hepatitis as a public health burden by 2030. With united efforts, we can achieve this goal.

The World Population Day is an annual global event observed on July 11th to draw attention of people towards the importance of population issues and understand the need for population control for overall growth and development of our community, country and the entire world.

Traditionally, Father’s day has been celebrated since the early 20th century. Interestingly, this day is celebrated in many parts of the world at different times of the year.
In America, Canada, UK it is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. In many European countries, Saint Joseph’s Day is marked as Father’s day in March. In Australia and New Zealand Father’s Day is on the first Sunday in September.
In INDIA we celebrate Father’s Day on third Sunday of June every year to celebrate fatherhood and recognise the contribution of fathers to the lives of their children. On this day, children spend quality time with their dads and offer gifts and cards to express their love and gratitude.
So, this Father’s day on 21st June, cherish the beautiful bond of love and respect with your father.

Realising the importance and benefits, the world has started celebrating “International Yoga Day” on June 21 since 2015. The theme for this year is "Yoga at Home and Yoga with Family." due to the coronavirus pandemic.
So, let us all take a pledge to celebrate this day at our homes to spread awareness about the importance and health benefits of yoga. .

Little or no production of melanin pigment is a typical characteristic of individuals with albinism. It is an inherited disorder resulting from mutation in gene involved in the production of melanin.
Although there's no cure for albinism, people with the disorder can take steps to protect their skin and eyes and maximize their vision under medical supervision.
For increasing awareness and promoting global focus on albinism advocacy, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution establishing June 13th as International Albinism Awareness Day. .
