الحمدللہ رب العالمین

میں بیٹھا تو ہوں، مگر ہوں کہاں؟
وجود تو ہے، پر نشاں کہاں؟
وقت نے ایسے مٹا دی صورت،
جیسے کوئی خواب ہو، یا دھواں!"

"کبھی جو بیٹھا تھا امید کی کرسی پر،
آج خود کو دھند میں لپٹا پایا ہے،
نہ چہرہ باقی، نہ سایہ کوئی،
بس ایک خلا سا، جو تنہائی لایا ہے!"

والدین کے ساتھ بیٹھو، باتیں کرو،
ایک دن وہ خود بخود خاموش ہو جائیں گے۔
انہیں آزاد چھوڑ دو،
خرچ کرنے دو،
اپنی مرضی سے جینے دو،
ایک دن وہ تمہارے لیے سب کچھ چھوڑ جائیں گے۔
انہیں بار بار نہ ٹوکیں، وہی باتیں دہراتے ہیں،
ایک دن تم ان کی آواز سننے کے لیے ترس جاؤ گے، جب وہ خاموش ہو جائیں گے۔
جتنا ہو سکے ان کی دعائیں لو،
جھک کر، پاؤں چھو کر،
ایک دن وہ خود بخود تصویر بن جائیں گے،
پھر تمہارے معافی مانگنے کا کوئی فائدہ نہیں ہوگا۔
انہیں دوسروں کے سامنے کچھ نہ کہو، انہیں کھانے دو، اپنی مرضی سے،
پھر دیکھو وہ کھانے کے لیے بھی نہیں آئیں گے،

Sit with parents, talk,

set them free,
let spend
live as you please,
One day they will leave everything for you.
Don't repeat the same things over and over again.
One day you will long to hear their voice, when they are silent.
Take their prayers as much as you can.
bending down, touching feet,
One day they will automatically become images,
Then your apology will be of no use.
Don't tell them anything in front of others, let them eat as they please.
Then look, they won't even come to eat.
