A song straight from the hearts of our Boys’ Hostel students. ❤️
For Father’s Day, every hosteller penned a personal message to his dad. Those heartfelt words were then woven together into the lyrics of this original composition—a tribute to the quiet sacrifices, unwavering love, and enduring strength of fathers everywhere.
May this collective expression reignite our sense of gratitude, love, and admiration for the fathers who have helped shape our lives.

This beautiful hymn “Faith of Our Fathers” is sung by the students (Girls’ Hostel) as a meaningful celebration of the values the fathers uphold and the legacy they leave behind. It serves as a heartfelt tribute to fathers and father figures whose love, guidance, strength and unwavering faith continue to inspire.

“Yes, dads, too, wait to hear, ‘I love you.’”

This Father’s Day, let us break that silence. Tell your father that you notice the sacrifices he never spoke about, the dreams he quietly set aside and the love he expressed not always in words, but in every responsibility he shouldered.

Today, we celebrate not titles, but the hearts that chose to stay, to sacrifice and to love without conditions.
To those whose fathers are in Heaven, Father’s Day is a day of remembrance, gratitude and prayer. Though they are no longer by our side, their love, values and blessings remain with us forever.

Happy Father’s Day to every father, every father figure, every mother who became a father and every father who became a mother. May you never have to wonder if you are loved—you always have been.

❤️

Saying No to Drugs: Awareness Programme on Child Safety and Protection

As part of the Naksha Mukt Bharat Saptah (Drug Free Week), an awareness programme on “Saying No to Drugs” was conducted at the school in collaboration with Prodigals Home, a de-addiction and rehabilitation centre, and the Social Welfare Department, Government of Nagaland.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. K. Sani, Project Director of Prodigals Home, highlighted the purpose and significance of the awareness initiative, emphasising the need for early prevention and informed choices among young people.
Mr. T. Meren Jamir, Counsellor at Prodigals Home conducted an insightful session recounting his own personal, lived experience of drug addiction. Drawing from real-life challenges faced by individuals battling substance abuse, he urged students to stay from drugs and also warned them about the dangers of experimentation and unhealthy habits that can lead to addiction.

An engaging Question & Answer session followed, during which students raised thoughtful and relevant questions. The interactive exchange made the program both informative and impactful, encouraging greater awareness about making responsible life choices. An important highlight of the program was the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Pledge taken by the students and teachers, reaffirming their commitment of the collective responsibility to create a safe, healthy and a a drug-free society.
