EMPOWER
Every human being on this planet is always on a search for the true purpose of life. We spend our entire life finding the true reason of our existence. Questions like, why was I born? What is my purpose in life? Am I just another human being or do I serve a certain purpose in life? These questions of these questions always baffle the living and often a person spends his entire life finding that purpose but not being able to find it.
Similarly, I have been searching for my purpose and “finding myself’ in the midst of chaos. Some people says it comes with an age but I beg to differ that statement, I am very positive that it comes with experiences and usually the worst ones you can think of. I also think it has to do alot with how you are brought up and what are the values passed on to you. I started from a dorm room during my second year in North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Arunachal Pradesh and now I am driving towards being a full-fledged company. After three years of starting up in 2016 with different ideas and failing in most of them, one of my startup got a traction in a bplan pitching competition “THE ENTREPRENEUR” by Young Leaders Connect where I won a cash prize of 0.5 million INR. The competition validated my idea and gave me a seed and there was no looking back. In 2018, midst all the choas one morning I woke up to see a dream I never imagined to happen to me. I made it to Forbes List, the idea of being on that list was never anticipated. To be specific I was listed in Forbes Asia 30 under 30 2018 Consumer Technology. The same year I was conferred with “Sikkim Prasansha Patra” civilian award by the government of Sikkim during the state day. All of these award and success could never quench the thirst that I had for finding the true purpose of his life. Then by careful consideration I tried a lot of methods to find my purpose and my persistence bore fruit to truly realized my purpose. I realized that the true purpose of my life was to “EMPOWER”. The meaning of empower in the English dictionary is ‘to give power or authority to’ but this is just the tip of the ice berg that I found. I found that all the work I was trying to do and I am currently engaged was to empower more people. It wasn’t so difficult to find my true purpose with the right lens, which took me 25 years to acquire.
EMPOWER, is a project I pledged to take in this decade to empower more people. Even the idea of empowering more people already makes me feel empower and the joy of giving my decade to help more people gives me satisfaction and trust me, this is the best feeling I have ever got. Now the idea of “Project Empower” is to make it a people driven project because I want others to feel the same as I do. Together we can always do more, lets empower.
The mission or purpose of this project aligns with the purpose of my life, this brand and my purpose aims to be a bridge, for everything that encircles us. From being a bridge between under-privileged and privileged, from being bridge between existing and living and most importantly a bridge between I can’t and I can. Lets aim to be the burning torch for the people around us and empower them.
