ANMA Integrated Development Association - AIDA

AIDA works to enhance quality of life in rural areas through direct interventions in over 300 villages and through our partner network, in over 1000 villages. Our key strategy is community participation, through promotion of community based organisations, and nurturing leaders at grassroots level. Interventions by our professional and technical teams towards more secure livelihoods include awareness creation, skill building, linkages and support for eco-friendly and improved agriculture, horticulture, animal husandry, responsible use of natural resources, promotion of savings and thirft, and individual and group micro enterprise. Groups work together to address issues of basic education, adult literacy, health and sanitation, social harmony,solidarity, gender and rights. Our health professionals address issues of basic health care by building community capacities and commitment for prevention and management of Community Health Workers for every village, advocacy and linkages with district authorities,day-care centers for children for children, immunization and health training camps.
