A high-energy zone with interactive play and collectible merch pulled students in, while a sharp sampling setup introduced KitKat’s newest flavours right on cue.

Bringing the soul of Japan to New Delhi for a grand debut!
We made this happen by conceptualizing and executing Mixi’s first-ever India activation at Mela Mela Anime Japan (MMAJ), creating an immersive experience rooted in authentic Japanese culture.
The main attraction? A meticulously detailed Mikoshi—a portable Shinto shrine—which we built entirely from scratch. Achieving the intricate traditional detail was a challenging build, but watching the Mikoshi parade become the event’s highlight made every moment of effort worthwhile.
The activation also featured a custom QR-led scavenger hunt, powered by a dedicated microsite we developed to prompt visitors to find QR codes placed throughout the venue.
Every element, from the game to the curated merchandise—including Japanese fans, holographic stickers, and face towels—was in sync with the brand’s ethos and the spirit of Japanese culture.
The result: Over 5000+ people immersed themselves in the Mixi experience.
