Eid or Eid-Ul-Fitr is the “holiday of breaking the fast” that marks the end of Ramadan. It occurs on the first day of Shawwal, the Islamic month that follows Ramadan. It is believed that Prophet Muhammad used to wait for news of sightings of the crescent moon as it narrated the beginning of new month.

🎤Our guest speaker is *Dr. Nikhil Kateja ,Co-founder and CEO of Edna Biolabs Private Limited* involved in the manufacturing of speciality reagent and kits for research and invitro diagnostics.
He has done his bachelors in biotechnology and masters in bioprocess technology from ICT Mumbai and has obtained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi. Dr. Nikhil has 3 years’ experience of working in R&D centres of leading Indian biotech companies like *Intas and Syngene*.

He will be sharing his journey from taking the fundamental research done in biomanufacturing to industrial research.🎤

Makar Sankranti, annual Hindu harvest festival celebrated on 14 January . The festival signifies a period of socialising and celebrating mainly by flying kites, dances, feasts etc.
