The Lecture will be conducted by Mr. Ganesh Kumar Sahu, Senior Principal Scientist, Bridge Engineering and Structures Div., CSIR - Central Road Research Institute. He will be sharing his valuable opinions centered around Bridge Engineering.

Dear learners, IAStructE Student Chapter DTU is celebrating ENGINEERS' DAY on SEPTEMBER 15 2021, at 12PM.

Participate in a grueling extempore competition on the theme: effects, opportunities and innovations in the construction industry due to covid RULES:
Each student will be given a random problem statement for which a relevant solution should be presented.

Participants will get reverted back with a problem statement.

Response of the statement should be made in a form of short video - shot on selfie camera (participants are required to look into the camera and speak the solutions they gathered)
Time allotted for preparation: 10 minutes
Time allotted for presentation: 2.5 - 3 minutes
*Brownie points for observation skills of other participants will be allocated.

REQUIREMENTS
A brief knowledge of the construction industry
A probable extrapolation on the correlation of covid and the construction industry- based on your experience and internet search.
Working internet
Common sense MARKING WILL BE MADE ON THE BASIS OF RELEVANCE, INNOVATION AND PRESENTATION, PURELY OF THE DISCRETION OF THE JUDGES.
