✨ SparkEd x Pangea: Learning Without Borders came together for a 3-part online series—Building Blocks of Play—hosted by Chughtai Institute of Leadership and Learning.

We dived into the neuroscience of play, the image of the child as a capable thinker, and the environments that spark wonder and creativity. 🌱🎨

SparkEd joined hands with Learning Matters India to present Building Blocks for Early Reading. 📚💡

Together, we unpacked the science of reading, phonemic awareness, and phonics—helping educators and parents build the foundations of fluent, joyful readers. 🧠✨

Dynamic Literacy

SparkEd x Pangea: Learning Without Borders brought Dynamic Literacy to GD Goenka School, New Delhi.
A 3-hour workshop where teachers explored how movement, punctuation, and writing come alive in the classroom! 🌀✏️ Making literacy learning joyful, embodied, and deeply meaningful. 💫

Responsive Language & Learning

Over several months, SparkEd x Pangea: Learning Without Borders partnered with Arth for a fully customised online professional development journey. 💻✨

This wasn’t a fixed workshop—it evolved with the educators. From storytelling and sensory play to phonological awareness, classroom spaces, and student agency, each session responded to real classroom needs as they unfolded. Responsive. Reflective. Dynamic. 🌱📚

Tying it all Together 🪡
 
Pangea and SparkEd collaborated to custom build a 5-day workshop for Arth, a progressive early childhood program in Kolkata, India. Play, music, and storytelling permeated through our days as we embodied the learner spirit and immersed ourselves in a rich and supportive early childhood environment. We tied it all together by looking through the lens of observation and documentation to capture and relaunch learning for children.

The overarching goal was to
gain an understanding on nuerodiversity and how to support children with diverse learning profiles with the academic demands of school.

Love is…

When you like someone a lot.

Your heart.

Cuddles.

When your heart beats.

When you were born you love your mumma.

When you are travelling and you don’t want your mom and dad to go they stay.

When your heart breaks and your parents don't want you to go, but you have to wander off somewhere else. They have no choice, they just have to go and wander off somewhere else.

When a new baby is born.

⚡️You know you are doing something right when your student wants to add more “work” to their plan!

Still on a high after the 2-day workshop, Bringing the English Language Curriculum to Life in Kolkata.

I have never met a team of educators who are so deeply committed to continuing their own professional development, bringing research-based practices into their classrooms and making learning fun!

For our last workshop of 2022, SparkEd goes back to Kolkata.

During this active 2-day workshop the teachers will explore targeted and specific strategies for grabbing and maintaining student engagement while making the content come alive. This workshop helps support all areas of early childhood development: physical social, emotional, and cognitive. The participants will use research-based strategies, creative movement, kinaesthetic activities and music to create constructive learning experiences for their students. Classroom management strategies are also embedded in everything that will be shared.
