There are two things we should always be

1. raw and

2. ready.

When you are raw, you are always ready and when you are ready you usually realize that you are raw.

Waiting for perfection is not an answer, one cannot say "I will be ready when I am perfect" because then you will never be ready, rather one must say "I am raw and I am ready just like this right now, how and who I am.

12 weeks back I decided I wanted to sculpt myself and be in the best shape of my life.

I knew it would be hard especially after binge eating all the delicious food post the Indian festivals, but I was ready to give it my all.

Having said that, I knew it would be very tough if I didn’t myself accountable each day and to do that I thought unless I don’t have a coach guiding me, I won’t stay accountable.

For this reason, I reached out to my friend, Tejas and I told him I wanted to do this and can you help me get into my best shape.

He said just “LETS DO THIS”.

We set small goals week by week and the idea was to get a tick in the box.

In this time I also travelled to India and had a great time with family and friends. Enjoyed some fav foods but did mention to Tejas that my cousins won’t spare me and he said “Enjoy it while it lasts”.

I was back and into the rhythm.

Week by week we saw changes and that was like a driving force to push yourself into the next week.

Something that I started 12 weeks back, came to an end and the result was something I was super happy with.

In this process I learnt to discipline myself, mentally become strong and have the ability to say “NO”, when needed.

Thank you Tejas for being my guiding force. Onwards and upwards.

Also, a big big thank you to Aanya for taking out time from her busy school schedule and capturing these moments for me.

A question I get often asked during any consultation is that how long will it take to see some physical difference.

You have to understand that if it has taken you certain amount of years to be at the level you have put yourself then it will certainly take a while to see some changes.

Fitness is a lifetime journey and as long as you are ready to put the work in, results will come. They are only a byproduct of the effort.

Rather than concentrating hard on the result, put your focus and mind into the effort.
