Under the Bharatmala Project, 11 new toll plazas will be established in Punjab, significantly impacting local commuters’ expenses.
The Delhi-Jammu-Katra Expressway and Ring Road projects will connect Delhi, Punjab, and Jammu-Kashmir, saving travel time.
Satellite-based tolling will be implemented, eliminating the need for stops. This project spans 261 kilometers in Punjab, costing 235,000 crore.
The new toll plazas in Punjab will be located at:
1. Patran and Chandigarh
2. Malerkotla and Patiala
3. Sangrur
4. Malerkotla and Ludhiana
5. Ludhiana and Ambala
6.Nakodar and Ludhiana
7.Jalandhar and Nakodar
8. Kapurthala and Jalandhar
9. Dasuya and Hoshiarpur
10. Batala and Pathankot
11. Pathankot and Jammu & Kashmir
