Nakba, Colonialism and Radical Q***r Politics

The Nakba was a catastrophic set of events that shaped the story of our surroundings, the local policies and the ideology that shapes our local reality.

As q***rs, we believe that local colonialism directly strengthen the idiology of the Jewish homo-nationalism, and restricts any kind of independent development in the q***r sphere. Moreover, colonialism operated intentionally to oppress Palestinian q***rs and seperated them from their own communities.

In this event, we will screen three movies and host a political activist panel in which we will discuss the relations between the Nakba, colonialism and local q***r politics. The panel will be facilitated by Nizar Helawy with Shada Aamer, Ziyad Abul Hawa and Sarit Michaeli.

The event will take place this upcoming Sunday at "House of Solidarity", at 19:30.

All event earning will be donated to local Q***r Palestinian activism
