I guide the length and breadth of Israel providing specialist tours for individuals, groups and families looking to explore the Holy Land. While I have a specialism in historical and academic tours of the major and lesser known sites, I can keep your group engaged; be it adventurous 5 year olds or inquisitive pensioners.

The trip to Acre (Acco) was with a University student looking to get a whistle-stop tour of historical sites that they hadn't seen on their traditional gap year and age 16 "Israel tour". We put together a program of nature and more urban sites including a day in Acre. Accessible by train, this city is a real gem for anyone interested in religious, military and general history. Within a 20 minute walking radius you can visit Crusader, Muslim and Jewish history topped off with a meal at one of Israel's kosher gourmet restaurants (Roots). Highlights included the Al Jazzar mosque, the Knight's Hall, the Ramchal synagogue and a view over the port.

You can live for decades in an area you call "home" and not have discovered the gems hidden right under your balcony. One of my favourite tours to guide is when I take groups of community members to discover the hidden history and stories of the people living in their backyard.
