I am excited to announce a new AgriPV project that involves growing lychees under solar panels. 🌱

Agrivoltaics is a farming technique that integrates agriculture and solar energy by using solar panels to create a microclimate that benefits crops. Farmers can generate additional income by selling the excess electricity to the grid. 🧑‍🌾⚡

We use single-axis trackers that are 5 meters high and software to control shading patterns to ensure that the lychees get the right amount of sunlight. Additionally, we use crossbeams to reduce foundation depth, resulting in lower construction costs.

This technique reduces heat stress on crops and increases yields - a win-win for everyone! 🎉

Today we marked 100 days of our children, women and men who are still held captive in Gaza, by pausing our work day for 100 minutes.

During these 100 minutes, we went outside to pray for each and everyone of the 136 hostages.

The symbolic empty yellow chair awaits for the safe and immediate return to their families.

לבנו עם השבויים ומשפחותיהם.

היום עצרנו את העבודה ל-100 דקות, ויצאנו לרחוב להתפלל ולהזכיר את שמותיהם של כל 136 השבויים בעזה.

היתה לנו הזכות השבוע לארח אישה מדהימה, סיגל עטיה קראוניק - אשתו של רבש"צ בארי, אריק קראוניק ז"ל.

סיגל סיפרה על גדולתו של אריק כאדם, על הערכים שלו, הציונות ואהבתו לארץ ולדרום. היא תיארה איך הוא השקיע והשאיר חותם בכל מקום ובכל דבר בו נגע.

סיגל סיפרה לנו על ההתמודדות האישית שלה בשבעה באוקטובר, על דרכי ההתמודדות המדהימים שלה ועל כך שגם בעת הזאת היא מצליחה לחזק את בתה. אנחנו נדהמנו מהכוחות העצומים שהיו לה במאבק ההישרדות שלהן מול המחבלים.

סיגל השאירה אותנו עם עיניים לחות אבל עם השראה ורצון לשאוף להיות בני אדם טובים יותר ולחיות חיים משמעותיים שמשאירים חותם, כפי שהיא עושה וכפי שאריק עשה.
