These beeswax candles were the MOST satisfying thing to decorate. Creating more focus than meditation! I loved everything about it, the colourful burning candles, the tactical dipping of melted wax and dotting patterns. I’m not sure I’ll ever be about to burn these beauties!

For me, it’s about slowing down, working with raw materials, and turning them into something simple, useful, and beautiful. I also share this through workshops; giving people the space to make, learn, and reconnect.

Slow down and make something real. Two hours for yourself to learn the art of soap making, the same method they have used for 100’s of years, this workshop is beginner friendly and uses natural oils, waxes, clays and essential oils so you know the end result is a high quality product made by you. 10th May, bookings at MuMe.ie
This is a little video for anyone who was on my beginners soap making workshop. After 1-2 days your soap will be ready to take out of the mould/container, once out you can leave in a dry spot in your house for 4-6 weeks to cure. It takes that long for all the lye to disappear before you use it - I know that feels like forever! But trust me it will be worth the wait.

Did you know you can make cold pressed soap from using only one ingredient- olive oil. You can use 100% olive oil in your cold pressed method to make a beautiful, solid, balanced bar of soap that lasts for ages.
This workshop felt like a bit of a pinch me moment, a perfume and scent designing workshop in TIKTOK no less 😊 an amazing experience with a well organised team. You can make traditional cold-process soap at home with just a few simple ingredients.
In fact, something as basic as olive oil can form the foundation of your soap. With the addition of water and caustic soda (lye), that oil transforms into beautiful, skin-loving soap through the magic of saponification.
Soap making is one of my favourite things to do — it’s creative, calming, and endlessly adaptable. Whether you keep it simple or experiment with colours, scents, and textures, there’s something really special about making your own.
