Another great Summer Songschool National Concert Hall, Dublin Dublin . Thanks to the amazing team Liz Seaver and Will Troy for making the weeks run so smoothly. Great songs were written and performed, bands formed and friendships cemented. 🤘

Checking back in to say hello. This time from the sunny climes of Malta. Prayers and beers to feed the soul of a wayfaring stranger.

Yesterday I spent the afternoon at the beautiful Old Carnegie Library in Dun Laoghaire. The event was the Dublin Music Book and Fanzine Festival. The programme was packed with great guests. Well done to everyone involved 👏👏👏

I’m often asked how an album is recorded and the truth is that there is no set way. My first two albums took about 10 solid days and my third took about 3 years on and off and this one was recorded in fits and starts over 4 years. It started during lockdown and carried on.
Anyway, here’s some facts and figures for those that might be curious.

The great thing from my point of view is that it happened and that I got to work with some of my musical heroes, reconnect with some dear friends and made some new ones during this process.
