Called past Hansa Studios in Berlin this evening just to soak up the vibes. What a space.
Next step is to get a look inside and maybe one day get a session in there 🤔🤞🤘.
My parents collected and kept things. I do too. They help connect our stories and this captures one of our greatest adventures- emigration to Australia. We sailed for £10 and made our way from Ireland to Liverpool and down to Southampton where we boarded the ship and away we went. Dad bought a Super 8 camera on the way and he filmed our journey . I used the first reel of that for a music video for my song “The Blue Black Waves” and it just worked.

Dusting off the plectrum, strumming and humming a few songs at The Brady Sessions on Monday 17th.
Had the pleasure of watching and his Swedish band play last night at last night. The songs are as great as you would expect and the band bring a great energy and dynamic with their quirky moves and solid grooves. I’ve seen Robert live solo and with The but this was the first time for .

And finally - a song that was a joy to write. This one came into the world very quickly and was recorded as a live track and then layered with textures courtesy of my cousin who added guitars, keys and vocals in his studio in Melbourne Australia.
