WATERPARK TAG RUGBY - LATE AUTUMN LEAGUE STARTING NEXT WEEK

Waterpark tag is back for a late autumn league! This time with a twist!
We’re starting with individual registrations and will create balanced, mixed-standard teams for the duration of the league.

We’ll have a mechanism for players to request to be placed with some familiar faces. However, at this time of year, mixing and matching players gives us the best chance of creating competitive, sustainable teams with good numbers every week.

Games will be longer than the standard 45 minutes, allowing us to maximise playing time. Teams will have enough players to comfortably field each week, without being oversubscribed — which should also create more opportunities for players to sub for other teams when needed.

👀

Waterpark and Dungarvan Rugby club girls U16’s team took a spin to Tallaght stadium on Sunday to support the Irish ladies rugby 🇮🇪 team in the WXV GLOBAL SERIES against the USA 🇺🇸 The visitors proved too strong in the second half and came away with the win but it sure didn’t dampen our girls spirits ! A mighty team bonding session was had with singing and cheering all the way up and down the motorway.
The Irish squad came out in force signing autographs and taking selfies to beat the band much to the delight of our crew. Looking forward to the next outing and will 100% remember to bring the earplugs ! 🙈
Special thanks to both clubs coming together to provide the bus and also a special mention to the Waterpark mother who won 40 tickets on RTE so the girls could go in and watch the match for free ! 🏉
