Corofin Castle Lecture 🏰

You’re Invited!

Members of the public are warmly invited to a FREE lecture exploring the history and significance of Corofin Castle.

The lecture will be presented by Dr Enda O’Flaherty, archaeologist and heritage specialist, and will explore the origins, development and importance of one of Corofin’s most recognisable historic landmarks.

All are welcome — admission is FREE.

Come along and discover more about the fascinating history of Corofin Castle and its place in our local heritage.

The new owner will also present the results of recent surveys and what is planned for the future of the Castle and its surrounding areas.

❗️❗️Gravel /Stones on the N17 from Corofin Cross as far as Claregalway , Galway County Council will be clearing it up but in the meantime take care on the road❗️❗️

Watch as 1,000 ducks race down the River Clare, raising money for the Corofin Community Development Association.

🎟️ Buy a duck and you could be in with a chance of winning a child's bicycle first prize, along with 3 other prizes! There is also a raffle on the day with a wide range of fantastic prizes.

⏰ Online ticket sales close at 10:00am on Sunday 9th August. Ducks can also be purchased on the day at the event.
