Not sure about you, but it felt like winter seemed to go on forever! Both myself and Niamh were in hibernation mode, hiding from the wind and cold, doing the bare minimum - which was all we could motivate ourselves to do.
BUT, we reckon it's time to gently get back into the swing of things.
Last week we got some iced coffees and started to plan our summer adventures ✨
Our first starting here in the sunny south east with the hook or by crook triahtlon 🏊🏻‍♀️🚴🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️
Wish us luck with our training!!

Chasing good vibes 🧡 Enjoyment and connection are at the heart of staying active (for both boys and girls) - because when it's fun and shared, it sticks!

We loved getting feedback from participants attending our workshops! It's so inspiring to see how motivated people are to support girls and women in sport. If you're interested in organising a workshop, webinar or collaboration feel free to reach out.

Big thank you to all our friends around Tramore who gave us the thumbs up to spread the word about our upcoming event 👍🏼

Our hope is to reach people who've never gotten a chance to learn about their own physiology plus meet a cool community of women 😎

Spring is in the air and we are buzzing to announce our first ever pop-up event in Tramore! To mark international women's days we wanted to get off our screens and meet more of our amazing community. This practical workshop is aimed at active women who want to learn more about their physiology and cycles.

Our goal is to break down the science and for everyone attending to leave with more confidence understanding and listening to their bodies.

More details to follow but we are hosting it on Sunday March 9th in the beautiful at 11.00 - 13.30 🤗

DM for more details and to put your name down.

Hello on the wet and rainy Monday!

I know it can all feel a bit doom and gloom, but we have just passed through the darkest 10 weeks of the year and it's brighter mornings and evenings and here on in! It’s been a while since myself and Niamh introducing ourselves - so what better time that the last Monday in January 😅 We’re the duo behind Move2B, a space about making movement feel good (not like a chore 🙅‍♀️).

At the heart of Move2B our mission has always been simple: creating environments where girls and women are support to do whatever activity, adventure or sport they want.

And as we step into 2025 (windswept and tired), we’re reminding ourselves of a few words of wisdom:

✨ Niamh: “This year, I’m focusing on finding joy in the ‘mundane’ everyday things - because, let’s be real, that’s where most of life happens, yano?”

✨ Orna: “This year I’m (still) working on having the confidence to do things at my own thing. It’s a practice, and I’m learning it's okay to slow down, take breaks and ask for help along the way.”

Here’s to another year and we and we want to say thanks for being here with us ❤️

Hello January!

The start of the year always brings a mix of possibilities but also that feeling of wanting to stay under the covers and hibernate until summer. As we start off 2025, we reckon it's important to remind ourselves that the year is like a marathon, not a sprint🏃‍♀💨 Instead of rushing to hit the ground running, why not start with something manageable that feels doable today and tomorrow. Take some easy steps and allow yourself time to adjust.

Slow and steady really works for us in January.

So as we start off 2025 be kind to yourself. Give yourself space to ease into the year with small steps. Let’s take 2025 at your pace, your race 💕

Share your first easy step with us if you'd like 👣

Shout out to all the coaches and volunteers working to give this generation of teenage girls the opportunity to be involved and stay involved in sport! We see the work you do and how passionate you are about the benefits of sport. It's important not to forget to refill your cup too!

We're always trying to practise what we preach and they say that growth happens outside your comfort zone! This winter we're trying to get out on the water at least once a month... So far there have been plenty of wipeouts 😅

We’ve just wrapped up an incredible 6-week leadership program in collaboration with and - one of the key takeaways has been how much sport can teach us about life and leadership. As I reflect back on what sport is teaching me, here are 5 lessons I’ve learned since taking up snowboarding in my late twenties:

✨You’re capable of more than you think. Whether on the slopes or in a boardroom, you can push beyond what you think your limits are.

🏔️Appreciate the journey. Sometimes, it's about enjoying the mountains as much as the progress.

🤙🏼Ask for help. Take a lesson (or several). You don’t need to figure it all out alone – mentorship matters.

🏂🏼Pace yourself. It’s okay to take breaks. Progress happens at your own speed.

🍓Fuel up. Just like in life, energy is everything – fuel your body and your mind.

The slopes have been an amazing teacher, and hopefully the participants on the course learned a few things!

We are coming into the 5th week of our leadership program in collaboration with and .
We've looked at what leadership means for the next generation and how we are able to inspire change in others.
Big shout out to the amazing participations on our course this year - excited to see the change and impact they will undoubtedly make 🔥

At a recent workshop, we asked a simple yet powerful question 'How can we create a supportive and positive environment for players and athletes?'

The discussion that followed was really interesting. Regardless of level or age group, one thing stood out: it starts with the little things.

Be friendly - a smile and a simple 'hello' can go a long way in making someone feel welcome.

Have fun - whether it's during training or competition, it's all about enjoying the process!

Be supportive - encouraging each other, celebrating successes and learning from setbacks creates space for everyone to grow!

What other ways do you think we can support each other?
