Detelca

Slovenian-Irish association Detelca is a community of Slovenians and friends of Slovenia and Ireland. We are linked with FB Page Slovensi ns Irskem.

It was revived on 8th February 2022 on anniversary of death of Slovenian poet dr. France Preseren and Slovenian national day of culture. Idea of Slovenian society in Ireland started much before that. After Embassy of Republic of Slovenia was closed in November 2012 there was eminent need for a formal organisation of all Slovenians living in Ireland.
