Wonderful time exploring our autumn treasure bags. Through play and art our preschoolers learn about our native trees and the changing of the seasons.

We at Budding Explorers preschool have been fostering a love of nature for many years at our outdoor preschool with well establish wild meadows to support our beehive. Our play area is immersed in nature so our pollinator ambassadors (aka the children) can observe up close all the pollinating insects and flowers providing a βbee-positive action' for the Pollinator Programme 2025.
Along with pollinators we have tadpoles in our pond and plenty earth loving insects. Our art projects reflect the interest of the children such as our homemade binoculars and vibrant coloured tissue flowers. We deeply believe in nurturing a knowledge of nature in preschoolers as they are the protectors of our future environment. in Schools

Our baby caterpillars arrived today and the kids were fascinated by how small they were. We will be observing their growth over next few weeks and hopefully will have 5 butterflies to set free in our garden.
