This was the first fully formed song I wrote in the Spring of 1990.

I grew up listening to my mother singing country and rock n roll. She truly was an exceptional singer within our family and in local bars in Ballingarry, Mullinahone & Fethard.

She loved my first song and I had to send her a tape from London so she could sing along in the kitchen.

My brave and beautiful mother tragically died 5 months after I wrote I’m Going Crazy.
I buried the cassette tape with her 💐x
