One of the biggest transformations I love seeing is the journey from old, ashy microblading to beautifully refreshed powder brows.

Over time, traditional microbladed strokes can lose their definition and spending on skin type, skin lifestyle and many other factors it is possible that some can heal into cool grey, blue, or ashy tones as the pigment ages within the skin.

This is completely normal and something we see regularly with older techniques and pigment formulations.

The first step in the transformation is laser tattoo removal. By carefully lightening and removing the old, saturated strokes, we create a cleaner canvas and avoid layering new pigment over unwanted colour.

This allows us to achieve a much fresher and more natural healed result.

Once the old pigment has been sufficiently removed, we can create a soft powder brow using modern pigment technology.

Unlike many older pigments that were prone to fading cool over time, today's high-quality mineral pigments have advanced significantly.

They are formulated to heal beautifully and maintain a warmer, more balanced tone as they age, helping to prevent the unwanted grey or blue discolouration often associated with older brow work.
