The midget racing car club of ireland is a non profit organisation where competitors race on grass tracks in custom made smaller than production cars
The Midget Racing Car Club of Ireland was
formed in 1936 by Dudley Colley, Count Cyril
McCormack, Cyril Murray (Car Rentals), George
Reddy and Leo Manthorpe. They were a group of
well respected gentlemen in the motor and horse
trade and one of their main ideals was to keep the
sport inexpensive. They laid down specifications
for the building of single seater racing cars,

MRCCI club statement
Unfortunately the mrcci won't be attending Silverstone this weekend as we will be racing in Galway with the Galway motor club.
Apologies to all who were waiting to see Dan Mulligan put it up to max verstappen on the first corner. Martin Rafferty was said to be eyeing up lando norris seat in fp1 however he had to work on the Friday. Fernando Alonso offered his services for the 1000cc race in Eddie Byrne's former race car as he said it would be great to be able to race something green and fast (reliability not included)
