Well done to everyone involved in this year's East Cork Parents & Friends Summer Camp, which supports children with special needs and has been running for over 30 years in Midleton. The camp's closing ceremony took place earlier this week and Becky from Midleton CU was delighted to make a present to Margaret Trundle, camp founder, on behalf of the team at Midleton CU. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who make this camp such a massive success each year. We'll CU all in 2027!

Midleton Credit Union is delighted to sponsor eight year old Oliver Barry from Midleton as he heads to Tralee tomorrow as the official Rose Buddy to Toronto Rose, Kylie Paliani at the 2026 Rose of Tralee. Oliver’s mum, Danielle, entered him in the competition to be a Rose Buddy earlier this year – and then completely forgot about it - until she got a call from the Rose of Tralee organisers to say Oliver had been selected. Open to children aged 6 to 10, each Rose is assigned both a Rose Bud (Oliver’s Rose Bud is Isabella O’Brien from Kerry) and Rose Buddy, who will attend the official Rose of Tralee parades and opening ceremony.

We wish Oliver all the best this weekend in Tralee – not to mention his Rose too! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Very excited to be running the Family Fun Treasure Trail at Feast - East Cork Food & Drink Festival for the third year running, alongside Midleton Library, Talbot Hotel Midleton and HYDES Children's Fashions - we shall CU all on the day at the Family Fun Zone. More details to follow!

There’s plenty in store for all ages at fEast Cork 2026, including our Family Fun Treasure Trail, kindly supported by Midleton Credit Union.

Expect lots of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy as you make your way through the festival.
