A Cork Kent bound train at Midleton railway station.

Iarnród Éireann will be operating on more scarce timetables as they adjust to a smaller amount of demand and meet safety measures.
The trains will be on different timetables from March 30th and will be operating at about 80 percent of their usual frequency.
Measures have already been implemented to keep people apart as they travel.
The new timetables have yet to be published on their site but are expected to be soon.

Record numbers and strong growth were recorded on the Cork/Midleton route with passenger numbers up almost 10% from 437,000 passenger journeys to 480,000.

Christmas Eve

For Midleton and Cobh rail routes, a Saturday service will operate until 6.15pm (Midleton) or 6.30pm (Cobh).

Christmas Day and St Stephen's Day

There will be no trains running on Christmas Day or St Stephen's Day.

December 27 & 28

For Midleton and Cobh rail routes, a Saturday service will be in operation.

December 29

For Midleton and Cobh rail routes, regular Sunday trains will be in operation.
