Mallow Search and Rescue

We are very sad to hear of the passing of Eric Keane a member of the Civil Defence Cork North & East. Eric from Mallow , volunteered with the civil defence for two years. His loss will be felt throughout the unit. Our thoughts & prayers are with his family.

Thank you Johnathan O’ Callaghan who visited Mallow Search & Rescue with his mum and sister last Tuesday. Johnathan held a Wild Country and Western night in the stand Bar in kanturk. He donated the proceeds to our unit. Thank you Johnathan , it’s much appreciated 🙏

Thank you Steve Crowley and all the people who supported his 100km walk in aid of Mallow Search and rescue. Steve recently donated €4210 which he raised from his epic walk. Thank you Steve it’s very much appreciated 🙏

Thank you to Broomhill Vintage Car Club who organised a vintage car show yesterday in Coachford. They raised money for local charities.

Thank you to our members who volunteered to provide safety cover for the Irish rowing championships in Farren Woods for the last three days. Well done to all involved

Ring Of Kerry Charity Cycle - July 2025

It’s a beautiful morning on the River Lee this morning where we are providing safety cover for the Cork Rowing Regatta. Due to equipment malfunction one row boats had to be towed to shore. We would like to wish the best of luck to all the competitors 🚣‍♂️

MSAR were happy to supply safety boat cover for the Zack Ryan concert in Páirc Úí Chaoimh this evening & tomorrow evening. I hope everyone enjoys the concert 🎸🎸🎸
