'Ending & Beginning' - A collection of artwork made by all groups within the Art Hub over this past year.

Last week, we proudly hosted an exhibition showcasing a large variety of work by students of all ages, celebrating their hard work, creativity, and achievements.

Every piece tells a unique story and reflects the talent, effort, and imagination of our students. We are incredibly proud of what they have accomplished.

Thank you to everyone who came along to support our young artists and help make the exhibition such a special occasion.

The Art Hub is pleased to present 'Ending & Beginnning', an exhibition of work done by students of the art hub over the course of the past few months. Please pop in for however long you'd like, for a fun and social evening, where we celebrate our young artists. The exhibition will be open from 4 to 5:30 on Thursday the 4th of June. All are kids parents and guardians welcome to come and enjoy some amazing artwork!

A big shout out to the wonderful 6th class students at Monaleen NS who participated in two brilliant STEM workshops this morning. We looked at renewable and sustainable energy - so relevant given the current fuel crisis - we programmed Edisson robots, completed Makey Makey circuits and did some amazing engineering with our TomTecT kits.💡🌎

Another incredible achievement by Hub Martial Arts! Countless hours of training, encouragement, support and nurturing yielding incredible results! Major thanks to all the team, the families in support: the hard work has paid off! Maith sibh!!!!!

NUMBER 1 IN IRELAND! 🏆

​I couldn’t be prouder to share that Hub Martial Arts took home the Best Overall Team title at the ISKA Irish Open 2026! 🇮🇪
​Topping the leaderboard with 123 points is a testament to every single student who stepped onto the mats and canvas . While the medals are a great bonus, it’s the months of sweat, discipline, and late-night training sessions that really won this trophy.
​To our fighters: You showed heart, respect, and world-class skill. To the parents and coaches: Thank you for being the backbone of this team. We win together, we learn together, and today, we celebrate together!

The Easter Camp was tremendous fun last week. An action-packed programme included STEM, ART, Music, Baking, Archery, Creative Writing, Archery and, a first for us, Climbing. It's often said that we do our best learning in our "discomfort zone": we learned a lot last week!

With huge thanks to Professor Sarah Hudson and her colleagues at the SSPC Research Ireland Centre for Pharmaceuticals, University of Limerick for their generation donations, this week our junior scientists learned all about acids and bases with colourful chemistry and natural indicators made from red cabbage!🥼🥼 The SSPC has long been a champion of our work at Learning Hub Limerick and we appreciate their support in advancing STEM education for children on Limerick's northside. 🙏 🙏😊

News just in from Santa's elves! Mr Claus is going to be stopping at the Learning Hub! Next Thursday from 3.30pm until 6 o'clock Santa will be here to meet and greet any and all children and families who would like to say hello and get a photo with the man in red.
