A former Kerry footballer Seán O’Leary recalled the horror of a collision in 2021 that left his football career in tatters and his life turned upside down when he spoke to thousands of secondary school students at the AXA Roadsafe Show in Killarney last Thursday.

We are all deeply saddened to hear the passing of our ex colleague Pa O’Dwyer who served as a fire fighter with Newcastle West Fire & Rescue from 2010-2016
His courage and kindness will not be forgotten by those who had the honour of working longside him.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his children Sienna, Rocco and Freddy, partner Layna and all of Pa’s family & friends.
