As many of you know, our journey began back in 2009 as Kingdom Castle Repairs, focusing on repairs and safety inspections for inflatables across Kerry. From day one, safety has been at the heart of everything we do — and now, that commitment matters more than ever.

Over the years, we’ve grown into Kingdom Inflatables Limited, offering one of Kerry’s largest selections of inflatables and event equipment. But while we’re proud of our success, we want to shine a light on something even more important — the new safety laws that now apply to inflatable hire across Ireland.

✅ What You Need to Know:

It is now against the law to hire out inflatables without a valid safety certificate issued by a recognised inspector.

This certificate proves that a unit has been professionally tested, inspected, and meets national safety standards. Without it:
• Your insurance becomes null and void, even if the policy is active.
• You may be held legally responsible in the event of an accident.
• Most importantly, you’re putting lives at risk.

Unfortunately, we’re still seeing castles and inflatables being hired out without proper certification — often at tempting prices — but please don’t be fooled. Always ask to see a valid safety cert before booking any inflatable or event equipment.

From October 2025, it’s now a legal requirement that all bouncy castles, slides, and inflatables hired out in Ireland must have a valid Safety Certificate issued by a qualified inspector.

That means:
✅ No certificate = not legal to hire or use
✅ Certificates must be renewed every 12 months
✅ Gardaí and councils can now inspect or stop uncertified inflatables
