This workshop is for 7-12 year olds who would like to try acting! Or who may feel a bit shy and need that little bump of confidence? Come and join Loretta in this fun, energetic, and interactive workshop for all levels!

Loretta has taught drama for over 15 years, both in primary schools and privately with groups. Her background is in theatre and has worked for 5 years as a voice-over actress, providing learning contact for companies such as Bank of America, Blackberry, Microsoft 2007, along with many others.

Booking is essential. Please book for child only.

Please note that children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Wexford County Council Arts Office and Wexford Libraries invite applications for an Artist Bursary focused on the themes of commemoration and funded through the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport.

Commemoration Artists Bursaries 2026.
This artist bursary will offer the opportunity to support and invest in new work developed by a professional artist in any art form based in County Wexford.

📆 Closing date for applications has been extended until 30 June, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

There is one bursary for €5,000 and it will be awarded to artist(s) addressing the broad theme of commemoration.

This should be informed by the period of Irish history which was commemorated in the recent Decade of Centenaries Programme (1912-1923) as well as the post-civil war years (1924 -1935).

Applications are open to artists working in all artforms such as, but not limited to, literature, film, music, drama, visual arts, or artists working in a combination of art forms.

🌟 Attention My Open Library Members: new scanners! 🌟

We have brand new My Open Library scanners here at Gorey Library! You now access the My Open Library using your barcode on the Wexford Libraries App, so no need to panic if you forget your library card. Here's our new sign-in procedure:

1. Place your physical or digital library card against the scanner at the FRONT of the machine (not underneath)
2. Enter your PIN
3. Press #
4. Enter the library and wait at the front door until it closes, ensuring nobody else enters

If you need any help with our new scanners, just come up to the desk any time during staffed hours.
