With your library card you can borrow up to 12 books, CDs or DVDs at a time for 3 weeks, and if you need them a little longer you can renew them over the phone or online. We also have Free WI-FI, and free internet access, all you need is your library card! It's FREE to join the library, just bring along some valid photo ID and a letter/bill with your home address on it, and you can use your new li

Wexford County Council Arts Office and Wexford Libraries invite applications for an Artist Bursary focused on the themes of commemoration and funded through the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport.

Commemoration Artists Bursaries 2026.
This artist bursary will offer the opportunity to support and invest in new work developed by a professional artist in any art form based in County Wexford.
📆 Closing date for applications has been extended until 30 June, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
There is one bursary for €5,000 and it will be awarded to artist(s) addressing the broad theme of commemoration.
This should be informed by the period of Irish history which was commemorated in the recent Decade of Centenaries Programme (1912-1923) as well as the post-civil war years (1924 -1935).
Applications are open to artists working in all artforms such as, but not limited to, literature, film, music, drama, visual arts, or artists working in a combination of art forms.

We were delighted to welcome so many young people and families who took part in our exciting programme of events.

Summer Stars Reading Adventure is back in this Summer to spark a love of reading in children across the County.📚
It runs from June 2nd - end of August 2026.
Children throughout Wexford are invited to join the adventure and enjoy reading some of the great books and eBooks available to borrow for free from libraries in Wexford, Enniscorthy, New Ross, Bunclody and Gorey.
There will also be fun library events and activities along the way.
Summer Stars is non-competitive.
Every child who reads even one book/e-book is regarded as having completed the programme!
Call in to your local branch from June 2nd to find out more and sign up at the staff desk.

🌊✨ Cruinniú na nÓg a Creative Day at Enniscorthy Library! ✨🌊
Join us this Saturday for a fantastic lineup of fun, creativity, and inspiration for children of all ages at Enniscorthy Library!
🐚 Seaside Story Time & Craft at 10.30am (Ages 3–6)
Kick off the day with a delightful seaside adventure! Little ones will enjoy magical stories filled with waves, sea creatures, and sandy fun, followed by a themed craft activity inspired by the coast. Perfect for ages 3–6, but everyone is welcome to join the fun!
No booking required.
🎨 Sculpture Workshop at 11am (Ages 12–17)
Next, older children can take part in an inspiring workshop celebrating Turner Prize winner Nnena Kalu, the first neurodiverse artist with a learning disability to receive this honour. Participants will create large rhythmic drawings, experiment with colour on fabric, and build unique tactile sculptures using a variety of materials.

🧵 Fabric Portraits with Lyn Haughton at 2pm (Ages 7–11)
In this session, children will design a one-of-a-kind portrait full of colour and texture! Using paints, fabrics, and mixed materials, they’ll bring their creations to life. Feel free to bring a photo for inspiration!
