Dunshaughlin Xmas Tree Collection Fundraiser

Hi all,

Now that collections have finished I'd like to thank everyone who supported my Christmas Tree Collection Fundraiser. It was a great success and I appreciate all your help.

Some people without real Xmas trees have contacted me asking how they could make a donation. With this in mind I have decided to set up an online fundraising page. I will post again with a link in a few days when this is up and running.

I'd also like to say a special thank you to Maurice McCormack Fire Flood Services for the loan of the van (pictured below) used to collect the trees. Without it we could not have collected as many trees as we did.

Skryne/Rathfeigh/Kilmessan: Morning/Mid-Morning

Dunshaughlin Area: Mid-Morning/Lunch.

Clonee/Blanch: Lunch/Early Afternoon

Navan Area: Afternoon.

My name is Kevin Bawle. I’m a transition year student in Dunshaughlin Community College. I am fundraising to travel to Ghana for volunteer work in June this year. This work will consist of building classrooms in an orphanage and helping to care for the orphans.
As part of the fundraising, I am offering to collect and dispose of your Christmas tree on Saturday January 7th in return for a donation of €5.
