EFFECTIVE HAMSTRING REHAB ADDRESSES THE PELVIS AND RIBCAGE
Your hamstrings are at the mercy of your Ribcage and Pelvic positions.
Strengthening a hamstring without addressing the pelvis and ribcage is like pi***ng in the wind. Itβs going to blow back on you.

π€ THINK ABOUT THIS π
Lets say you had an ankle injury and you never properly or fully rehabbed it. Lets just say that now itβs missing 1mm in range.
That 1mm at the ankle gets extrapolated as we move up the chain and what can be 1mm down below could be 2mm at your pelvis. Why? Because a smaller range below is a bigger range above. Think about a earthquake proof building. The top stories will be swaying side to side while the bottom only rocking a small amount.
We can follow this thread all the way up the body. Injuries are an insult on the body, the older the injury, the more of an insult it is!

YOUR BACK PAIN IS A RESULT OF YOUR BACK DOING TOO MUCH, NOT WEAKNESS
We get this a lot in our assessments βI have a weak back and I need to strengthen itβ
This statement is always coupled with a back that is chronically tight and activated and either and upper or a lower limb that is weak as s***t.
We get our clients a lot of relief instantly by allowing their back to relax.
If you have back pain and have been βstrengtheningβ it with no long-term reduction in symptoms then itβs time to let go and allow those tissues to relax.

DO YOU WAKE UP WITH A STIFF SORE LOWER BACK?
If you wake up with some low back discomfort, stiffness, tightness or pain then chances are that your back tissues have spent the night in a short and compressed state.
This exercise allows for the tissues of you lower back to lengthen & decompress by encouraging the tissues of the arms and legs to do some work!
