Speak up for children's futures and public health! Join Irish Doctors for the Environment, ourselves and other orgs & individuals on 📅 Wed 18th March, ⏲️ 1pm to 1:30pm outside the Dáil on Kildare St. We will be protesting the Government's reckless plans to expand Dublin airport by lifting the passenger cap - entailing way more climate pollution, when for a safe future, we know we must instead be slashing pollution. Please bring banners and signs if you can.

ℹ️ This protest will follow a morning of pre-legislative hearings on the📃 Dublin Airport (Passenger Capacity) Bill - a Bill that would enable the Minister for Transport (Darragh O'Brien) to remove the cap, in a centralisation of powers away from local authorities and An Coimisiún Pleanála.

We, Children's Rights Over Flights, will be testifying in these public pre-legislative hearings before the Joint Oireachtas Transport Committee. If you're interested in attending the hearings (from 9:45 to noon), please contact an elected official on the Transport Committee in advance.

Appalled to hear that Minister O’Brien is attempting to push through the removal of the passenger cap at Dublin airport. It's shocking that a minister tasked with tackling climate crisis is taking steps that would massively increase the pollution causing it.

Dublin Airport Authority ad has been ruled misleading by the Advertising Standards Authority. This ad is part of an ongoing greenwashing campaign by DAA, a semi state body.
