A recent job we completed… The buchan trap was damaged which in turn was leaking into the soil causing more cracks and displacements in the line.. Buchan trap replaced with pvc straight through connection with a 6inch rat flat.

Client having rodent issues the last 15 years… Our drain division carried out a full CCTV survey of the system we found a burrow in the main manhole.. also a redundant 100mm pvc going straight under the extension.After an excavation around the AJ we located 2 more entry points.

All entry points have been sealed up and we have installed a 150mm rat flap in the outlet.

Shown in the images attached is a recent job completed. We successfully located a rodent entry point within a broken 150mm outfall broadstrap. Following this survey and quotation we carried out a full excavation of the defective broadstrap and installed a new 150mm straight pvc pipe with a Ratflap. Securing the line with two 150mm fiberglass resin liners and completely refurbished the outfall manhole.
