Scaling our delivery across Europe: Mercury opens its new world-class design and engineering headquarters

Mercury’s new world-class design and engineering hub in Dublin brings together more than 400 professionals across our Design, Engineering, Specialist Services and Support teams under one roof.

Connected to our state-of-the-art Engineering and Off-Site Manufacturing facility in the centre of Europe, alongside a growing network of regional offices, the headquarters forms part of Mercury’s long-term investment in scaling delivery across Europe.

This long-term investment provides the infrastructure to scale, strengthening innovation and collaboration across teams and enhancing Mercury’s ability to deliver leading-edge results with greater consistency, efficiency and certainty for clients across Europe.

CEO Eoin Vaughan comments, “Our new headquarters reflects our ambition and is a strategic investment in our teams and clients that will help us to scale our operations and fulfil the Go Beyond strategy. I look forward to welcoming our valued partners and clients to Mercury’s new home over the coming years.”

Honouring our past and celebrating our future at Mercury's HQ opening event.

Mercury recently opened the doors to its new headquarters in Dublin, marking the occasion with a celebration that brought together Mercury’s past, present and future.

There was a genuine sense of excitement and pride on the day, as colleagues old and new - founders and future leaders of the business came together to connect, share stories, and celebrate Mercury’s legacy and the vision shaping its future.

We were honoured to welcome founder Joe Morgan and his family, alongside members of the O’Kane family, to our HQ opening event, as Joe reflected on Mercury’s journey from its beginnings with the late Frank O’Kane to becoming the European leader in construction solutions.

The occasion also marked the unveiling of a plaque recognising our founders and the legacy that has brought us here.

From the very beginning, they had the bravery and entrepreneurial spirit to make it happen- a mindset that still defines Mercury today.

Speaking at the launch event, CEO Eoin Vaughan reflected on how much Mercury has evolved over the last five decades. Yet our purpose remains stronger than ever: Your Vision, Our Duty. "Our purpose shapes how we deliver for our clients and our people. We back our people to realise their vision and reach their potential every day, so our partners only get the very best. That commitment means Mercury will always deliver."

Our new headquarters stands as a symbol of that journey, past, present, and the future. It's a milestone that represents who we are today and where we are going, a business of over 2,000 people across 69 nationalities and 14 countries. Our capacity and environment enable us to scale our delivery across Europe and support our people as we grow.

In 2025, Mercury invested €400,000 to improve outcomes for young people and families in the communities where we live and work across Europe.

Aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals of Good Health & Wellbeing, Quality Education and Zero Hunger, we partnered with organisations championing mental wellbeing, empowering at-risk youth by expanding access to education, strengthening children’s health and cancer care, and tackling food insecurity.

Partnering with these organisations has helped us support the people in our communities - with dignity, care and opportunity. Our giving programme reflects what matters most to us as a company, and it’s powered by people.

Thank you to our charity partners for your expertise, guidance and compassion. And to our people, a special thank you. Many of these initiatives would not be possible without your support and belief in the difference we can make together.
