Last week, our colleagues Sarah Kelly and Alan Bluett were delighted to attend the official launch of Calcutta Run 2025, the legal fundraiser organised by the Law Society of Ireland.

The event was kindly sponsored and hosted by McCann FitzGerald LLP, and offered attendees the opportunity to listen to the charity partners and special guests. To date, this legal fundraiser has raised an impressive €5.65 million in aid of homelessness in Ireland and Kolkata, India.

Speaking were Jamie McGee (Partner, Construction Group at McCann FitzGerald LLP), the current President of the Law Society of Ireland, Eamon Harrington, Maura Lennon (CEO of The Hope Foundation), Catherine Kenny (CEO of the Dublin Simon Community), and MC Miriam O'Callaghan.
