Due to 10 hours of an Uisce Éireann Irish Water sewage emergency overflow at Burrow Beach in Sutton, a Prohibition notice has been put in place with immediate effect and will remain in place for several more days. The EPA Ireland and HSE Ireland have been notified.

Beach users are asked to respect the ‘Do Not Swim’ notice as it has been put in place to ensure that the health of bathers is not compromised.

Great to have our full Beaver Scout attendance for this activity !
They built a full size replica in sand, of the 15 metre long, 4,500 year old oak canoe that’s in the National Museum. It’s of the time of the earliest Crannógs. And the Crannóg is the theme for Beaver Scouts all over Ireland.

Then we “rowed” to our campfire! 🔥

And toasted marshmallows for our s’mores! 😋
