This weekend, all eyes will be on Croke Park as Kerry and Mayo go head-to-head in the All-Ireland Senior Football Final. Across Source Civil, we're lucky to have fantastic colleagues from both counties proudly wearing the green and red, and the green and gold. While there'll no doubt be a bit of friendly rivalry on sites and in offices over the coming days, it's all in great spirit. At Source Civil, we're extremely proud to support Lighthouse, the Construction Charity again this year. Their vital 24/7 services provide emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families at home and abroad. Hard hats keep us safe on site but Lighthouse helps keep us safe inside. At Source Civil looking after our people goes way beyond the construction site.

Today was all about Degrees!! 30°C outside and a new Level 8 Civil Engineering DEGREE inside at ATU Sligo! We were delighted to attend the "Meet the Employers" showcase this afternoon for the new Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering Apprenticeship, which commences this September at . The event provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with prospective apprentices, share insights into the engineering sector, and discuss the exciting career opportunities available through the Engineering Apprenticeship Programme.

At Source Civil, caring for and supporting the communities in which we work is a core part of who we are. This week, we were proud to support St Gabriel's LGFA club in by sponsoring a new set of jerseys for the Ladies Junior Football team ahead of their 2026 season. The presentation was made by Source Civil Tendering Director, and St. Gabriel's coach and former player, Liam Kerrigan. Source Civil has a long-standing connection with the area, having delivered several critical infrastructure projects over the years, including Irish Water repair and maintenance works and Group Water Schemes. Supporting local clubs and community organisations is one of the ways we continue to invest in the places where we live and work.
