Day 2 - Update
The boys are pushing over 250km and spirits are high. The heavy mileage and lack of sleep is slowly taking its toll but the boys are sticking together, as a really tight knit group and getting each other through every second. Real brotherhood 💜
We want to say a huge thank you to for taking us in this morning providing the boys with a place to shower and an unbelievable breakfast to fuel the day! and being a huge help today.
Here’s some 📸 from day 2! To all the people in the counties we’ve passed in Ireland and Northern Ireland, who’ve stopped to say hello, offer words of encouragement, beep or honk the horn, thank you so much! You’ve helped to keep us going💜

Tonight at 6PM, the Miles for Memory documentary goes live on YouTube.
Over the past few months, we’ve documented every part of this journey — the training, the doubts, the brotherhood, and the reason behind the run itself.
This documentary tells the story of a group of lads from the northside of Cork City preparing to run 450km across Ireland in honour of Jason “Fox” Cronin, and to raise awareness for Frontotemporal Dementia.
It’s a story about friendship, grief, resilience, and pushing far beyond what any of us thought we were capable of.
Subscribe to the YouTube channel now so you don’t miss the premiere.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey so far. ❤️
5 days until the run.
Each of us are incredibly grateful to be part of something that means so much to us personally. But without the support this movement has received over the last few months, none of this would be possible.
Frontotemporal Dementia is a devastating disease that changes personality, behaviour, communication, and independence, often affecting people far younger than most expect.
In this clip, Shane speaks about the first moments he realised something was beginning to change in his dad.
Those early signs can be easy to miss. But recognising them early can make a huge difference for families searching for answers and support.
Every share, conversation, and donation is helping bring more awareness to a disease that still isn’t understood enough.
We carry that with us into every mile of this run.
