One of the leading presenting and producing theatres in Ireland, we are a vibrant cultural hub for the people of Cork. We aspire to make stories and performances for everyone. We want our beautiful theatre to stand as a home and refuge for all of our communities and all of our citizens, regardless of who they are. The Everyman is a not-for-profit organisation. The theatre receives its primary funding from the Arts Council, with additional funding from the Cork City Council.

This incredible story depicts a day in the life of middle-aged, homeless, alcoholic, Myra (played by the acclaimed actor Fionna Hewitt-Twamley), sleeping rough on the streets of Dublin.
While begging from passers-by at her regular spot by Ha’penny Bridge, Myra recreates her rollercoaster backstory.
