💎 Beautiful 650-seat Victorian theatre in the heart of Cork city The Everyman has been Cork’s cultural home for 125 years.

One of the leading presenting and producing theatres in Ireland, we are a vibrant cultural hub for the people of Cork. We aspire to make stories and performances for everyone. We want our beautiful theatre to stand as a home and refuge for all of our communities and all of our citizens, regardless of who they are. The Everyman is a not-for-profit organisation. The theatre receives its primary funding from the Arts Council, with additional funding from the Cork City Council.

After a total blockbuster of a sold-out show last month, we're thrilled to bring David Nihill back to our stage this October with Taking Tangents!

David got drunk on travel and never quite hit sobriety. He has lived and worked in twelve countries and visited over eighty. His shows draw on his wide travels, cultural observations, attempts at language study, (occasional) international drinking session(s) and being a mildly confused immigrant. His brand-new show Taking Tangents does exactly that.

Don't miss this one!

Traditional Irish melodies, alive with wit and charm, are woven together with the extraordinary speed, precision and athleticism of modern Irish dance. Tender Irish love songs, renowned for their lyrical beauty, are performed by exceptional vocalists, while stirring ballads of war, loss and longing are delivered with the passion and fire with which they were first written.

It can only be THROUGH IRISH EYES.

Our incredible Pool (No Water) star Evanna Lynch is on the cover of the Weekend supplement for the Irish Examiner this weekend.

She speaks on how first appearing as Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films still dominates conversations about her career, and about how this production of the Mark Ravenhill play has been "transformative".

We can't wait for you to witness what she, the full cast and the whole creative team have in store.

Don't miss this shocking and savage play, staged in an empty pool underneath the Metropole Hotel.

10 shows are already completely SOLD OUT, with the remainder filling up quick.
