Mothers First
Founded in 2004, We target malnourished Pregnant Mothers with food which increases birth weight What do Mothers do? How does it work? Mothers First Costs.
Mothers First has completely evolved its approach since its foundation in 2004. The evolution from the treatment of severe malnutrition in children to preventing it from happening in the first place. ππ What if you could own a small share in something truly beautiful?
Research published by The Lancet found that providing nutrient-dense food to malnourished pregnant mothers leads to safer pregnancies, healthier babies, and better lifelong outcomes. π€±β¨
A well-nourished baby has a stronger start in life, better health, and greater opportunities for the future. π±
In March 2026, Mothers First brought this life-changing program to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, supporting 38 mothers every month. Now, we're looking for 200 compassionate people to donate just β¬5 per month to help sustain and grow this flagship program across Africa. β€οΈ

Mothers First Supporting Vulnerable Families
Mothers First continues to support vulnerable communities by improving access to safe sanitation. We have successfully constructed five toilets in the IDAAN IDP Camp, helping to promote dignity, hygiene, and better health conditions for displaced families, especially women and children.
MothersFirst responded to a request from five households with persons with disabilities, selected from a total of twenty households residing in IIDAAN IDP settlement, located approximately 20 km north of Hargeisa. These households requested support for the construction of sanitation facilities, as they lacked access to toilets, a situation that poses serious public health and hygiene risks.
Visual documentation of the completed sanitation facilities will be shared separately. This intervention was supported by MothersFirst in collaboration with a local partner, MAGAN Network.
