We know it’s been a while since our last post — my head was focused on other things for a while.
With the current fuel situation in Ireland and rising costs, things have been a bit more challenging than usual. But we keep moving forward and doing our best every day.
We’ve finally found a moment to come back and show you what we’ve been working on!
Here are some of our latest projects — we hope you like them as much as we do 😊

↔️ Wardrobe depth sounds simple. Most people assume there is a standard size, usually around 60 cm, and that’s the end of it. In reality, depth is one of the most misunderstood parts of wardrobe design.

🏠 Attic bedrooms always come with the same problem. There is plenty of floor space, but not enough usable height. The slope of the ceiling limits what you can do, and this is where most wardrobe ideas fall apart.

👀 A wardrobe can look straight and still be slightly out of level or out of square. This happens more often than people realise, especially in homes where floors, walls, and ceilings don’t line up perfectly.

🤔 Sliding wardrobes get a lot of attention, and for good reason. They save space and work well in many layouts. Still, hinged wardrobe doors have not disappeared, and that’s not by accident. In certain rooms, they work better. Sometimes much better.

➡️ A sliding wardrobe should move quietly. When it rattles, clicks, or scrapes, something is usually off. The noise might appear straight after fitting, or it might creep in months later. Either way, it’s rarely random.
Sliding systems are simple in principle. Doors run on tracks. Rollers carry weight. When any part of that setup loses balance or support, sound is often the first warning.

🛖 Attics look spacious at first glance. The floor area seems big, and it feels natural to push a wardrobe right into the deepest part of the room. Many people believe that the more depth they use, the more storage they gain. With attic wardrobes, that usually isn’t true. The slope of the ceiling changes everything, and the deepest areas often become the hardest parts to use.

Understairs storage can be one of the most useful parts of a home, but only when the space is planned around height. The slope of the stairs creates natural zones. Some parts are tall, some are low, and some sit in the middle. Each zone works best for different kinds of items. When everything is placed in the right height, the whole space becomes easier to use.
