ππ€ 23 organisations. One shared vision for the future of equality in Ireland.
Together with a nationwide coalition of LGBTQI+ groups, Gay Project have submitted a joint report to the United Nations ahead of Irelandβs human rights review this November. By bringing together current research, analysis and real lived experiences, our submission aims to serve as a wake up call and provide a constructive roadmap for the future - offering 33 recommendations in areas like safety, healthcare, and education. We look forward to engaging in the review and working collaboratively to build an even more inclusive Ireland where every member of our community feels respected, connected, supported, and valued for exactly who they are.

πβοΈπ¨πΏββοΈ Calling all healthcare professionals in Cork! Gay Project would like to invite healthcare professionals to participate in our free βPride in Health: LGBTI+ Awareness Training Programme'
This training seeks to equip participants with information on LGBTI+ issues and support them to develop the tools to become a more inclusive service provider. After completing this training you will receive certification that you can proudly display in your premises to show that you provide a safe space LGBTI+ service users and staff.
The next session of Pride in Health takes place on June 17th from 2pm-4pm at Turners Cross Community Centre, T12 YP89

π Gay Project invites you to our first public β¨ Awareness to Allyship β¨ LGBTI+ Training. Being held in Turners Cross Community Centre on the 25th of June 6pm-8pm, this accessible training offers an opportunity to learn the A-Z on all things LGBT and how to be an active ally in your community.
Topics covered include LGBTI+ terminology, the importance of allyship and allyship practices, offers advice on how to discuss LGBTI+ topics with friends and family and how to challenge negativity and misinformation.
Spaces are limited, so to book your space contact [email protected]. If you miss out on this session, don't worry! We will be hosting a few more through the year!

We've been busy planning outdoor LGBTI+ summer gatherings in June with chats, snacks, refreshments, drag performances, information on LGBTI+ supports, and more!
