Over timeframe issue out of my control my first event of the year will be Cookstown road race. While id prefer a round of track racing it cant be helped.

But I cant wait. Roll on a dry 2026

This year is the biggest Road Racing season in many years. I aim to try all the tracks. I will have 5 new tracks, 8 in total.

With some of Mondello Masters when they dont clash.

Happy new year everyone. Next year im going to do my best to be better. New tracks new opportunities. Thanks all that help me, i really appreciate it.

Hands down the nicest sausages I've ever had. They arrive at your door as cold as if you pull them out of the fridge.

I decided kind of last minute to do the cork round of Irish minibike Championship. Engine I had was a bit worn and not making the power so I said I give It a quick freshen up the week before.

All weekend I chased a problem. Between 1 and 6 laps it would start breaking up badly. I went through everything fueling. Replaced every single electrical item. Then fitted a full new loom and electrics. Nothing changed.

In the end as I went to confirm timing again. It seems a set of valves I fitted weren't hardened. Probably 2 mm worn off the valve. The seat area is also in bad condition. No wear on valve seat or adjuster.
Just a little unlucky 🤷

To be fair to IMC they ran a great event

The struggle continued in Armoy. New Engine was consuming alot of oil. You can see in video. Before chicane i was down 13mph on last year. Similar drop in speed all around the course. Just didnt have the power.

Very easy to launch tho. 🤷 Got a great start in junior support.

Practice was wet. Back to back junior/supertwins qualifying was dry. I was set up way to hard but didnt have time to change. Means i only qualified for junior support. They had 52 entered for a 27 place race in supertwins 🤔

Wet wet Saturday morning i debated racing or not. Nicola encouraged. And i had a brilliant race.

Dropped time consistently. Fixed my line through Achesons cutting tight to grass ment i landed much nicer than last year. Went up 4 places and felt really comfortable. The wet setup is probably where i should have been on drys.

I hope to be back next year with a better bike and better performance.

Finally (22.37pm) ready for armoy race this weekend.
One plus is i found a near perfect match for my screen. Get rid of the retaining wall i was using for tandragee 😅

Bad. New Engine makes very poor power despite new titanium exhaust from storm performance and updated ram air airbox.
And on way home from dyno my years reliable stand failed and bike fell over. 🙄

Next year im putting together my own engines. Worked well on the sv platform. 🤷

Roll on Armoy my favorite race. I just hope weather plays ball.
