Emergency Meeting of Wilderness Rovers FC - 18/08/26 @ 7pm - WRFC Club Grounds

2026 marks the 30th Anniversary since the foundation of our Football Club - come the end of last season we reached a TSDL First Division Play Off in Cahir - missing out on promotion to the Premier League to Bansha Celtic.

We are due to play our First game of the new TSDL season this coming Saturday 21st August away to Ballingarry Albion.

Our squad has been effected by a number of departures to other Clubs and a number of injuries to our players.

We need to bolster our squad for the coming year and need more players to add to the ranks of WRFC.

Whether your a past player of the Club or a new face - we would be very happy to have you.

We are calling the above meeting to appeal to the Football Community in Clonmel and its surrounds.

If you are interested in helping our Football Club and adding to our squad please spread the word, get in contact and call up to us this Tuesday.

This Club means a lot to a lot of people out there and we want our Club to sustain itself in the coming weeks and months - if we do not fill out our squad our Management Team is very worried we might not be able to sustain the Club.

As always help and support is appreciated but at this stage its absolutely vital.

WRFC Committee

Our Club supported the Special benefit Night in aid of the Sasha and Layla Medical Fund hosted at the Clonmel Greyhound Stadium last night.

Our Club Secretary, Dean McGrath, presented the twins Mum, Kealey Tideswell with a donation towards the medical fund on behalf of the Committee of Wilderness Rovers FC.

Their father, Aaron Moroney, is a former player with our Football Club.

Incredible support for the twins and medical fund at the Track last night.

Our Committee wish to extend our best wishes to the twins, their parents and the wider Tideswell and Moroney families.
