This is me. At 6 years of age — just floating around, not a care in the world.

It was 1989, and my biggest worry was trying to sneak lemons from the trees around the hotel we were staying in.

Fast forward to now…

The worries are a lot bigger. Life is louder. The stakes feel higher.

But floating in a small pool of water is still what I come back to when I need to regulate.

It’s still the place I go to slow everything down.
