π’ Cavan Local Community
Safety Partnership wants to hear
from YOU!
Cavan Local Community Safety Partnership has launched a county wide
Community Safety Survey and is encouraging everyone age 12 years and over
to take part.
The survey will help shape the new County Cavan Community Safety Plan
2026β2028, ensuring that local priorities and actions reflect the real concerns
of those who live, work, and visit the county.
Community safety β both being safe and feeling safe β is a fundamental part
of quality of life. Thatβs why we want to hear from people across all our
communities. Your feedback will play a vital role in identifying key challenges,
needs, and opportunities and will directly inform the new three year plan.

πΆ *Traditional Music Session β Corlough Community Centre* πΆ
Weβre delighted to be starting a Traditional Music Session in Corlough Community Centre on Sunday 29th March from 5β6pm. The session will then take place on the last Sunday of each month.
This is a relaxed, welcoming session that is open to musicians of all ages and abilities. Weβre very lucky to have such wonderful musical talent in our community and weβd love to nurture that and bring people together to share the music.
Weβd also love to welcome any experienced musicians who might like to dust off their instruments and join in.
And of course, youβre just as welcome to come along, sit back and enjoy the music π»π΅
Please feel free to share and spread the word β everyone is very welcome!

**Reminder of our meeting tomorrow night in Corlough Community Centre at 8pm**
Corlough Development Association and members of our Storm Eowyn Community Hub have organised a public meeting in Corlough Community Centre on Wednesday, March 12th at 8 p.m. We have invited our local area representatives, representatives from Coilte and the ESB to attend.
Storm Eowyn has made us more aware of our vulnerability due to challenging power shortages. We know that the large tree population has played a major role in these power outages and also caused problems with power restoration.
This meeting gives us and the invited guests a chance to work together to develop plans that will hopefully avoid these problems going forward. It will also assist us in developing a plan in the event that it does happen again that we have a quicker response to getting the appropriate equipment and services to support us during these challenging times.
This meeting gives us an opportunity to work together towards a solution for any storms/power outages etc in the future, we look forward to seeing you on the night.
